On November 6, 2023, SUM College of Teacher Education hosted an online session titled “Basic Application of Computers” as part of the Teaching Orientation program. The session was organized under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and was conducted by Mr. Divakaran P. E., Assistant Professor in Physical Science.

Mr. Divakaran P. E., an experienced educator, aimed to equip participants with fundamental computer skills essential for academic and administrative tasks. The session covered various topics, including an introduction to computer hardware and software, basic functions of operating systems, word processing, spreadsheet management, and presentation software. Practical demonstrations were provided to ensure participants could apply these skills effectively in their professional roles.

The online format facilitated widespread participation, allowing attendees to engage from various locations.
