Independence day celebration 2024 organized at Anjarakkandi HSS
On August 15, 2024, SUM College of Teacher Education celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with a series of patriotic events.
The flag hoisting ceremony was led by Krishnakumar E P, followed by a welcome speech by Manager Ahmedkutty Master. Secretary Abdulla Master also addressed the gathering.
The main program took place in the seminar hall, featuring patriotic songs by students and speeches by faculty members George Joseph, Sunesh K, Abhinand K, Amaljith, Praseetha P, and Shincy Mohan. A quiz competition was also organized for the students.
In addition, a group of students and teachers visited Muzhapalam LP School and Anjarakkamdi School to assist with their Independence Day celebrations. This included managing students, conducting quiz programs, and providing sweets.
Overall, the Independence Day celebration at SUM College of Teacher Education was a resounding success, fostering patriotism and community engagement.
