Sum College of Teacher Education successfully celebrated Kerala Sports Day on 14/10/2024. The event was marked by a vibrant atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The primary focus of the celebration was on promoting physical fitness and fostering a sense of camaraderie among the college community.
The sports day featured two exciting events: penalty shootout and arm wrestling. Both events witnessed active participation from students and teachers alike. The principal, Dr. C V Jayasree, added a personal touch by taking part in a penalty kick, inspiring the participants.
In the penalty shootout, Aswin emerged as the champion, securing the first position. In the men’s arm wrestling competition, Akhil Joseph claimed the top spot, while Diljith secured the second position. In the women’s arm wrestling category, Aswani once again demonstrated her strength, winning the first place. Shibin claimed the second position.
