On 15th January 2015, the Pain and Palliative Care Unit of Chakkarakal organized a Palliative March to raise awareness about the importance of palliative care. The event was attended by a significant number of participants, including students from various institutions, who actively joined in the rally.

The march was aimed at highlighting the critical role of palliative care in improving the quality of life for patients with chronic or terminal illnesses. Dr. CV Jayasree, a prominent figure in the field, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of palliative care services in offering comfort and support to patients and their families. Dr. M. Muhammad Ali, another key participant, also contributed to the event, reinforcing the significance of accessible palliative care.

The rally concluded successfully, with participants demonstrating strong support for the cause and spreading awareness about the need for compassionate care for patients facing serious health challenges.
