A two-day workshop on Art and Drama was successfully conducted at SUM College of Teacher Education on March 3rd and 4th, 2025. The workshop aimed at addressing and overcoming the common obstacles and stage fright experienced by BEd students when performing or speaking in front of an audience.
The workshop was led by Mr. Biju Niduvaloor, a skilled professional in the field of art and drama, who guided the students through various interactive sessions, activities, and exercises designed to build confidence and remove the fear of public speaking and performance. Through these practical sessions, the students learned to express themselves creatively, engage with their emotions, and enhance their communication skills.
Mr. George Joseph, the chairperson for the occasion, graced the event and provided valuable insights into the importance of art and drama in personal and professional growth. His speech focused on the significance of building confidence and the role of creative arts in enhancing teaching abilities.
