
A memorable five-day study tour was organized for the students and faculty members of SUM College of Teacher Education, covering the historical and cultural landmarks of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. The trip took place under the leadership of Mr. Abhinand, the Head of the Department of Physical Education, and was assisted by Dr. CV Jayasree and Mr. Krishnakumar EP. The group began the tour with a visit to Qutub Minar, one of Delhi’s most famous historical monuments, followed by a trip to the Lotus Temple, an architectural masterpiece known for its unique lotus-shaped design. The day concluded with a visit to the Indira Gandhi Museum, where students gained insights into the life and contributions of the late Prime Minister.
Day 2: Agra
On the second day, the group travelled to Agra, where they marveled at the world-renowned Taj Mahal. Known for its stunning beauty and grandeur, the Taj Mahal left a lasting impression on all the participants. The visit to the Agra Fort was equally captivating, offering a glimpse into the Mughal era with its impressive architecture and historical significance.
Day 3: Jaipur
The journey continued to Jaipur, where the group visited the magnificent Amber Fort. Known for its stunning blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, the fort offered an immersive experience into the royal history of Rajasthan.
