Inauguration of the mathematics club at SUM college of teacher education for the academic year 2023 – 2024 took place on December 2023 in the college auditorium. The event was graced by the presence of professor Jayadevan SK sir senior lecturer at DIET Kannur who inaugurated the club.
The program comments with the prayer song combining with Surya and Mayuri. Following the inauguration, a welcome speech was delivered by Samyukth P, the chairman of the maths club. Presidential address was delivered by the principle of SUM college of teacher education Dr CV Jayashree mam. Professor of senior lecturer DIET Kannur jayadevan SK sir inaugurated the club. Arya Ravindran (chairperson SUM college of teacher education), KrishnaKumar sir (associate professor in education), Deepthi ov (assistant professor in mathematics), sarangi (second year maths student) were delivered the felicitation. Mayuri m Pramod was honoured during the inauguration. After the inaugural function at 12:00 p.m. a sudoku and Rubik’s cube solving competition took place in the college auditorium. An exhibition also took place in the college auditorium at 12 pm.
In the afternoon,a session featured Sashi Ranjan a research fellow at the central university of Kerala, sharing insights and engaging in a meaningful conversation on the topic. The central theme of the discussion was “Cracking The Code: Unraveling Tricky Mathematics”. At last Thaslina was delivered vote of thanks.
